CIDA redesigns used spare parts of iconic luxury vehicles like Mercedes AMG and creates sustainable lifestyle products out of it, like furniture and design accessories.
CIDA, which stands for Circular Industrial Design Accelerator, is built upon the concept of introducing used Mercedes-Benz parts into a secondary market focused on the circular economy. These components are taken and, with the assistance of designers and engineers, repurposed into objects that provide them with a fresh purpose and a completely new value. My responsibilities included rebranding the company, developing a distinctive website, and create the initial set of product concepts from the parts of Mercedes AMG models, like AMG One.

The product concepts were designed using parts from AMG One, G-Class, and GT models of the brand, including air deflectors, brake systems, front grills, rims, exhaust pipes, and interior materials
After a creative and challenging design process, I conceptualized and modeled several furniture concepts using iconic AMG models. Each of these concepts is characterized by the application of pure technological beauty, the dominant appearance of heavy metal parts, the aesthetics of raw metal, glossy paints, and sometimes the combination of glass with wood and Alcantara from the interior. These pieces of furniture aim to capture the essence of the Mercedes AMG spirit while also standing out as unique solitary furniture items.

An novel layout with horizontal scroll concept combined with 3D web experience
We took a unique direction with the website to make it stand out. After experimenting with what could be achieved using WebGL and React Three Fiber, we created a balanced site that partially incorporates a 3D experience while maintaining optimal performance. The website features large display fonts, a horizontal structure, a full-screen menu, microinteractions, and a 3D environment in the showcase section. This combination creates a distinctive storytelling structure.
